Once again I was volunteered to shoot a clothing show that a local senior citizens' group put on. Like previous times my dad was one of the runway models, so he was unable to shoot the event, hence me doing it. Plus it's an interesting experience to shoot that stuff, since it isn't quite what I usually do.

Unlike last year's celebrations it was pretty cold and rather rainy this year. That was okay though...at least it wasn't snowing!

I've never been to the market held at Katrinetorps Gård, an old-style manor house turned living museum, just outside of Malmö, Sweden, so I figured it was time to go.

I've had a busy weekend (and a few days afterwards editing the photos) shooting two Pride parades. It's so much fun shooting these events, because even while it is in fact a protest march, it is a march FOR something, rather than against (which is usually the case). It's about positivity in every sense of the word!

This weekend I went to a local science fiction convention with my 13 year old nephew and much against my own character I didn’t take a camera with me. Weird huh? Well...not really. We were there two years ago, and then I tried to do both “baby” sitting and photography and that’s just not doable. Also, given how insanely crowded the place gets it wouldn’t really be possible for me to take any good photos had I been there on my own. My DSLR is just too big for that.

“Take less photos...take better photos!” That was the phrase that I started out this year with, and while it feels like I’ve done just that so far this last week has been a direct contradiction of that. At least the first part (hopefully not the last part).
Read MoreFor the second time (I think so at least) on May 23rd 2015, there was to be a Pride parade in Lund, Sweden and I figured I could get some good photos out of that, since those events tend to be rather colorful, and everyone there is so happy take part, to make it an event. Like I mentioned in the previous blog entry the amount of photos taken lately has been rather low, so it was also an opportunity to get some new shots.
Once I had taken all the photos of the colorful participants I figured I'd do something new with my photos. So I decided to join the twenty-first century and make a little slideshow video of my shots, which you can watch below. Hope you enjoy!
