There are few weeks when I've not taken a single picture with my trusty Canon DSLR, but this has been one of those. The weather has simply been...well...November is a good way to describe it. And Swedish November at that...which means seriously crappy light for photography! Also, it's NaNoWriMo now, that month of the year when writing takes center stage for me, which means I don't mind leaving the big camera in the backpack for a bit!
I have however taken a few test snapshots with my new cell phone on various outings to Malmö and Lund, the most nearby cities. Since the contract on my HTC One expired I've now switched to an LG G4, and I must say I am pretty impressed. Apart from the screen and processor being bright and fast as hell, on the HTC One I could just as well put the camera away as soon as the light turned from day to twilight, because I got absolutely no acceptable pictures with that one when the light was anything other than daylight. Not so with the G4, which has all the settings you'd want to fiddle with if you set it to manual mode. Which I haven't. Not yet anyway, the automatic modes have worked well for me so far.
