One of the things I don't do nearly enough of is night photography, or low light photography in general. Mostly because it can be cumbersome to schlepp a tripod around, setting it up and waiting for the long exposures to finish...but when it is done right it looks pretty darn good!
At this time of year we're "lucky" in Sweden that night falls pretty early so we don't have to be out at midnight to get the dark shots. These shots are from a few weeks ago when I took part in a Facebook photo group walk through the streets of Malmö. We started our little photowalk while there was still daylight, but soon it was too dark to shoot with my tele zoom lens and had to switch over to my more light sensitive 50mm lens for the final pictures. All in all an enjoyable evening, even if it got pretty darn cold at the end! Thankfully a bit of hot coffee from a thermos helped a bit to alleviate that!
