This will be the second week in a row I upload a blogpost full of images of green plants and trees…and wetness, but this is in a completely different location from last week. I was planning on doing a wrap-up post for 2019 as a whole and my 365 project in particular, but I am not quite done with that text, so I’ll postpone that until next week, and upload these pictures that I took today. Can’t get any fresher than that, can you?
These images were taken at Katrinetorp, an old manor house outside Malmö, Sweden. The place is owned by the city today and during the season it houses lots of activities in the old buildings, including a very popular Christmas market that I visited a few years ago. Today though the place was locked up and the park area was nigh on empty. Not surprising really, given that there was a persistent drizzle going on, interspersed with actual rain. That is pretty much the kind of weather only photographers and dog people go outside in (and yes both those categories were out there in the park today).
I like how full the colors are almost straight out of the Fujifilm XT-3. I’ve only had to adjust a few of them since I managed to turn the ISO dial way up high on them, without noticing it. Definitely “pilot” error on those! They were still usable though, even if it took some tinkering with them in Lightroom to get there.
