Earlier this week I had about an hour between errands and an activity at my photo club so I decided to head out onto the streets of Malmö for some street photography. I felt a bit rusty since I’d not done a whole lot of that type of shooting for a while (camera in repair shop, shitty weather etc), so it was a perfect time to get back into it. Many people were on their way home from work out in the streets so there were ample opportunities to catch something (or someone) interesting!
I am going to sound a bit like a broken record with my ongoing surprise and delight in what my new camera is capable of, but it can’t be helped. These images were all shot at a time of day when the daylight was already beginning to fade and to get as clear images as these with a “kit lens” (it’s an 18-55 mm F2.8 - 4 lens) on the Fujifilm XT-3 is VERY impressive! Several of my photo club friends have asked what other lens I am going to get for my new setup, but I must say that for the time being I am quite happy with this lens. Right now I don’t need another one..at least not for THAT camera.
