I’ve now done almost two months (complete but for one day) of my Instagram 365 project and it is still fun to do. I’m two twelfths, or one sixth if you will, done and hopefully I can keep this enthusiasm going well into the year. I know there’ll be lulls and down periods to come, but that’s why I take a lot of “extras”...or “spares” when I’m out there, so that I can post stuff every day.
I guess that could be considered cheating, but since I set my own rules for myself for this project I can also bend the rules if I have to. So there. Anyway, I try to match the weather conditions in the picture to that day’s weather so that there’s not a jarring clash between a leftover extra picture with January snow in it posted on a June day. That would be a bit odd I think. Okay of course if you’re either going for a surreal effect...or if you’ve suddenly made a trip to the southern hemisphere. I’ve got no plans to do that, so there’ll most likely be no snow pictures in June!
I’ve decided to pick my three favorites from the two first months of this project for this blog post, since it is a good thing to go through and review your stuff from time to time. The images are probably not my "best" of the period so far, but they are the ones that I've returned to look at several times through these two months.
