I did a day trip to the Copenhagen Photo Festival the other day and while the actual exhibitions weren't exactly to my liking the location of the exhibitions at Photo City, the HQ of the festival provided a few interesting locations and details. It was held in an old power station near some gasworks and the raw industrial feel in the somewhat gloomy rooms was definitely still there. While it provided cool-looking detail shots in all their moodiness I feel pity for the photographers whose works weren't lit anywhere near well enough. I don't quite understand the thinking behind that, but I suppose they have their reasons.
I've gone back to an editing style I used a lot last year, funneling the shots through Analog Efex and Silver Efex to get the dark and gritty style I think the locations deserved. I might even include one or more of them in my ongoing "Old World" series. We'll see. :-)
